West Friesland. Provincial silver Bank 6 Stuivers (Lion Shilling) 1674 AU58 NGC, Enkhuisen mint, KM66, CNM-2.15.9. By Dirk Bosch. 2.74gm. An exciting and rare early Provincial minor, this Leeuwenschelling type was issued for Bank money over just two years. The reverse depicts an unusual 10-petal flower, whereas these are typically encountered with a 12-petal flower. Admitting gentle uniform wear and eye-catching, pilot blue patina silhouetting the raised motifs. , the first we have offered and we anticipate heightened attention from specialists of Netherlands coinage.
