West Friesland. Provincial silver Ducat 1677 MS63 NGC, KM64.1, Delm-972 (R), PW-Wf78. Struck at the private Enkhuizen mint of Dirk Bosch. A type that is always received to some fanfare when encountered so fine. A bed of underlying luster provides ample glow to the cabinet patina, which displays some preference for mossy, olive hues. The strike is centered and even with impressive detail remaining in the centers, notable for the type.From the Coenen Collection
