Carl XIV Johan Speciedaler 1844 MS66 NGC, Kongsberg mint, KM313, Dav-242, ABH-15, Sieg-18. A highly elusive one-year issue from the final year of Carl XIV's reign, and a type which can seldom be said to come outside of circulated grades. Fantastically icy throughout, the fields come alight with cartwheel luster from all angles, a silhouetting charcoal tone creating a strong visual contrast against the raised features. Very easily the finest certified, and quite possibly the finest known.
