Description
Large and Smooth Gold Nugget
3.02 Ounces
Gold Nugget, 93.9 Grams (3.02 Troy Oz). 46 mm x 35 mm x 9
mm. An excellent medium-sized gold nugget, with a balance of smooth
and irregular surfaces. Several deep and shallow fissures appear
periodically throughout. The nugget is uniformly bright yellow-gold
in color with no secondary mineral elements apparent. A curved
peninsula at one end gives the nugget a sort of leaf shape. Gold
nuggets get progressively rarer the larger they are. This piece is
second to a number of heavier pieces we have handled, but larger
than most of the small nuggets we see.
