Description
Republic Proof 10 Centesimos 1904 PR66 PCGS, Philadelphia mint, KM3. Obv. Armored bust of Vasco Nunez de Balboa left, in plumed helmet. Rev. Eagle supporting arms of the newly formed Republic of Panama. Rose-gray, and blue, toning, with pristine satin surfaces and a superb strike. An extremely rare issue, as are all of the 1904 Proofs, with a mere 12 pieces of each of the four denominations (5, 10, 25, and 50 Centesimos) minted at the Philadelphia mint. This is the finest example certified by both PCGS, and NGC, combined.Ex. Louis E. Eliasberg, Sr. Collection.
