    Description

Franklin Mint gold Test Specimen Strikes, KM16, obverse and reverse strikes of the gold 100 Kina 1980 commemorating the South Pacific Festival of Arts. Each coin is basically uniface with the reverse text "Franklin Mint Test Specimen." Choice Proof. This lot originally came with a letter from the Franklin Mint stating that only two pieces of each type were struck, but we cannot confirm this figure. Certainly very rare and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the specialized collector.
