(1759) Martha Washington Half Dollar
Test Token, MS63
Undesignated Judd Number
(1759) Martha Washington Half Dollar-Size Test Token MS63
NGC. 11.2 gm. This is the standard test token format used in
1965 with Martha Washington on the obverse and Mount Vernon on the
reverse. The weight is stated, but the composition is not. The
piece has the appearance of cupro-nickel, and the weight is very
close to the 11.3 gram standard for the 1971 and later Kennedy
halves, which makes it likely that this token is Judd-2132. The
surfaces are mostly brilliant with just a hint of pinkish-rose
