    1836 Two Cent, Choice Proof
    Judd-52, Billon, Plain Edge

    1836 P2C Two Cents, Judd-52, Pollock-55, Low R.6, PR64 PCGS. An early, small diameter two cent pattern with a spread-winged eagle on the obverse and date below. The reverse features TWO CENTS in the center, surrounded by a laurel wreath. Struck in billon (90% copper, 10% silver) with a plain edge. This medal turn near-Gem has a gunmetal-gray obverse. The reverse has an olive and slate center with peripheral orange and cobalt-blue toning. Well struck, satiny, and void of contact.
