    1838 Half Dollar, Judd-73 Restrike
    All-Brilliant, Deeply Reflective PR66

    1838 P50C Half Dollar, Judd-73 Restrike, Pollock-77, R.5, PR66 NGC. A draped bust of Liberty faces left on the obverse, with a flying eagle dominating the reverse. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. This restrike has five different die cracks on the reverse, in addition to tiny specks of die rust on both fields. The surfaces are all-white and deeply mirrored and this Premium Gem shows a better strike than usually seen. Among the finest certified examples of this popular early silver pattern.
