Description
Impressive 1850 Three Cent Silver Pattern
Judd-125 Original, PR62, Ex: Lemus
1850 P3CS Three Cent Silver, Judd-125 Original, Pollock-147,
R.4, PR62 NGC. Ex: Lemus Collection. The obverse has a Liberty
cap surrounded by rays. LIBERTY is on the bottom part of the cap
and the date is below. A palm branch encircles the entire reverse
to form a wreath, enclosing the numeral III. UNITED STATES OF
AMERICA rings the rim. Struck in silver with a plain edge. The
planchet shows heavy die striations, and as a result the fields are
bright and reflective. Reddish-brown patina is seen in the centers
