    Description

1851 P1C One Cent, Judd-127 Original, Pollock-149, R.6, MS66 NGC. The obverse depicts a laurel wreath and the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around a perforation. The reverse is also perforated with CENT at the top and ONE TENTH SILVER at the bottom. Struck in billion (10% silver, 90% copper) with a plain edge. This is an attractive representative of this Annular Cent pattern, both sides are moderately reflective beneath dappled silver-gray and tan iridescence that deepens to charcoal shadings toward the borders. A no-questions Gem for the specialists who appreciates originality.
