    Description

Mint State 1851 J-127 Cent Pattern

1851 P1C One Cent, Judd-127 Original, Pollock-149, Low R.6, MS64 PCGS. This is an annular cent pattern, meaning simply that the design includes a hole in the center. The composition combines 10% silver with 90% copper, but the silver is sufficient to impart the essentially bright white appearance, although this example is subdued by attractive toning. Although generally attributed to the year 1851, there is no actual date appearing on the coin. This is an attractive example with very slight lamination.(#11543)

    Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 11543)
