    Description

    Pattern 1853 Cent, Judd-151

1853 P1C One Cent, Judd-151, Pollock-178, R.5, PR63 PCGS. The obverse is the same as that used to coin regular issue 1853 quarter eagles. The reverse shows the denomination ONE CENT within a laurel wreath. Struck in a nickel-copper alloy with a reeded edge. This is a pleasing coin for the grade with steel-gray surfaces that display tinges of tan color at certain angles. A crisply struck example with a minimum number of distracting hairlines.

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 299K, PCGS# 11628)
