Lovely PR64 1853 Cent, Judd-151

1853 P1C One Cent, Judd-151, Pollock-178, Low R.6, PR64 PCGS. The obverse has the regular issue design of the quarter eagle, while the reverse shows a laurel wreath with the denomination ONE CENT within the wreath. The layout for ONE CENT is awkward, with ONE too high and CENT too low. Struck in copper-nickel with a reeded edge. A cream-gray near-Gem that has a razor-sharp strike and unperturbed surfaces. The obverse is strike doubled. In a green label holder. Population: 11 in 64, 4 finer (11/07).
