Glossy, High Grade 1854 Flying Eagle Cent Pattern, Judd-164
1854 P1C Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-164 Original, Pollock-189, R.6, PR66 Brown NGC. Flying eagle design with a hook-neck eagle on the obverse, surrounded by stars and the date below. The reverse closely resembles the regular dies issue for the large cent. Struck in either copper or bronze with a plain edge. The fields are bright and reflective with rich cobalt-blue toning that is accented by brown patina around and within the devices.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 29A9, PCGS# 11679, Greysheet# 12197)
