Description
Pattern 1854 Large Cent, Judd-161 Original
1854 P1C One Cent, Judd-161 Original, Pollock-187, R.4, PR 62 Brown PCGS. The design is similar to that on production large cents except there are no stars on the obverse, and the diameter is smaller. Struck in copper with a plain edge. Both sides display even glossy-brown patina with a crescent of olive-gray color around the right reverse rim. A few small carbon spots on the reverse seem to account for the grade.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 29A6, PCGS# 11663, GSID# 12188)
