Description
PR64 Brown Judd-160 1854 Cent
1854 P1C One Cent, Judd-160, Pollock-187, R.4, PR64 Brown NGC. This familiar pattern is mid-sized between the large and small cent, an intermediate step in the transition toward the cent in the diameter as we know it today. Aside from the absence of stars, the types are retained from the Large cent, but are smaller in scale, especially the wreath. Struck in bronze with a plain edge. Well struck and glossy with medium brown toning and prominent clashmarks.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# JNAF, PCGS# 11659, GSID# 12183)
