1854 P1C One Cent, Judd-160, Pollock-187, R.4, PR64 Brown NGC. The obverse is similar to that used on regular issue 1854 cents, except there are no stars. The reverse has a small wreath, but is otherwise close to the contemporary Large Cent. Struck in copper or bronze with a plain edge. The chocolate-brown surfaces have occasional hints of lighter tan color. A nicely struck near-Gem with impressively undisturbed surfaces.Ex: Worrell Collection (Superior, 9/1993, lot 586, which realized $1,430.(#11659)
