    Description

1854 Smaller-Sized Cent in Copper or Bronze
    Judd-160, PR65+ Brown

1854 P1C One Cent, Judd-160, Pollock-187, R.4, PR65+ Brown PCGS. CAC. Ex: Simpson. The design is similar to the contemporary large cent but omits the stars and shrinks the wreath. Struck in copper or bronze with a plain edge. Restrikes exist from rusted dies, but no such rust is present on this example. Glints of copper color appear within the confines of this glossy brown Gem, while blue and violet tones dominate.
