    Description

1855 Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-168 Original, Pollock-193, R.4, AU 58 NGC. The design shows a large eagle surrounded by 13 stars on the obverse, while on the reverse ONE CENT is surrounded by a thick laurel wreath which is, in turn, surrounded by UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Struck in copper or bronze with a plain edge. The eagle is somewhat weakly struck, as usual, and the glossy brown surfaces display a streak of deeper violet-brown color across the left half of the obverse.

The outcome of the auction far exceeded my best hopes and would not likely have been as successful with out your sound advice on where to present the coin and how best to set the reserve. Throughout the process your availability , support and knowledge were exceptional.
