    Description

    1855 Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-168, Pollock-193, R.4, PR 12 Holed Coin PCI. The design shows a large eagle surrounded by 13 stars on the obverse while on the reverse ONE CENT is surrounded by a thick laurel wreath which is, in turn, surrounded by UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Struck in bronze with a plain edge. Heavily worn, probably used as a watch fob or other jewelry item as evidenced by the hole in the top of the obverse between stars 7 and 8.
