    Description

    1855 Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-168, Pollock-193, R.4, PR 45 ANACS. The design shows a large eagle surrounded by 13 stars on the obverse while on the reverse ONE CENT is surrounded by a thick laurel wreath which is, in turn, surrounded by UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Struck in bronze with a plain edge. Noticeably worn, this coin spent considerable time in circulation.
