    1855 Flying Eagle Cent Pattern in Copper
    Judd-168 Original, PR64 Brown

    1855 P1C Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-168 Original, Pollock-193, R.4, PR64 Brown NGC. CAC. A Flying Eagle cent pattern in a large format, featuring a hooked-neck eagle, slanting 5s on the obverse, and ONE CENT in the center of the reverse surrounded by a thick laurel wreath similar its counterpart on the large cent. Struck in copper with a plain edge. The glossy-brown surfaces have underlying olive patina and nice reflectivity in the fields. The only surface defect is a shallow scratch from the right of star 1 to star 2. Sharply defined.
