1858 1C Indian Cent, Judd-208, Pollock-254, R.7, PR61 ANACS. Research by Andrew Pollock III has broken Judd-208 into four different patterns. Pollock-254 is an extremely rare pattern that has six leaf clusters within the laurel wreath, and a date that is distant from the bust truncation. Judd-208 is nearly always encountered as Pollock-259 or Pollock-261, which have a centered date. In any event, the designs are extremely close to the 1859 regular issue Cent. This pattern has rich golden-brown color and a very sharp strike. The obverse field has a few faint pinscratches that limit the grade. Struck from slightly rotated dies.
