    Description

    1858 Indian Cent, Judd-213, Pollock-251, R.7, PR 63. This pattern has the regular obverse of 1859, dated 1858, paired with the reverse of 1856-8. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. Boldly struck with some reflectivity still seen, a few mishandling marks are noted as well as some subdued golden-tan patina. A couple of carbon flecks are noted on each side.
