    Description

1858 P1C Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-192, Pollock-235, R.5, PR63 ANACS. A Flying Eagle pattern with the adopted design on the obverse. The reverse exhibits an oak wreath with ONE CENT within. An olive sprig and a group of three arrows are bound at the base of the wreath. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. Sharply struck with flashy mirrored fields that have a faint lavender haze. An overall chestnut-brown in patina. Seemingly conservatively graded despite the occasional contact mark in the fields.

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 29BC, PCGS# 11842)
