    Interesting Judd-192 1858 Flying Eagle Cent Pattern, PR64

    1858 P1C Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-192, Pollock-235, R.5, PR64 NGC. A Flying Eagle pattern with the adopted design on the obverse. The reverse exhibits an oak wreath enclosing the denomination ONE CENT. An olive sprig and a group of three arrows are bound at the base of the wreath. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. Light reddish-orange surfaces overall with an arc of lavender at the upper-right obverse. The strike is crisp, and the overall preservation is pleasing, though faint hairlines are noted in the obverse fields. Census: 6 in 64, 5 finer (10/08).
