    Description

Judd-192 Flying Eagle Cent Pattern From 1858

1858 P1C Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-192, Pollock-235, R.5, PR65 NGC. A Flying Eagle pattern with the adopted design on the obverse. The reverse exhibits an oak wreath enclosing the denomination ONE CENT. An olive sprig and a group of three arrows are bound at the base of the wreath. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. The pleasingly reflective fields form a splendid backdrop to razor sharp devices. There is not a single conspicuous blemish, but accuracy compels us to mention a spot within the feathers of the eagle's right wing.
