    Flying Eagle 1858 Cent Pattern
    Judd-192, Choice Proof

    1858 P1C Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-192, Pollock-235, Snow-PT13, R.5, PR64 PCGS. CAC. Eagle Eye Photo Seal, card included. The obverse is the familiar Small Letters 1858 cent. The pattern reverse is similar to the 1860 regular issue reverse, but the wreath is nearly closed with no shield separating the ends. Struck in copper-nickel, with a plain edge, from moderately rotated dies. Crisply struck and unmarked with scattered unimportant carbon. Population: 21 in 64 (1 in 64+), 7 finer (11/12).
    Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 2/2007), lot 4159, which realized $2,990.
