    Pleasing 1858 Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-193

    1858 P1C Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-193, Pollock-236, R.5, PR64 PCGS. Snow-PT11, Die State B. The obverse is identical to the regular issue 1858 Small Letters cent. The reverse, while similar to that adopted for the Indian cent in 1860, displays a broad, ornamented shield at the top. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. A meticulously struck and nicely mirrored honey-gold example. A tick southwest of the O in ONE provides a pedigree marker.
