    Pattern 1858 Flying Eagle Cent

    1858 P1C Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-193, Pollock-236, R.5, PR 65. The obverse is that of the regular issue 1858 Small Letters Flying Eagle cent, the reverse displays the denomination ONE CENT within an oak wreath with an ornate shield at the top. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. The flashy, orange-tan surfaces are boldly defined in all areas with no mentionable blemishes. A glassy Gem.
