    1858 Flying Eagle Cent, PR66
    Judd-193, Shield Reverse

    1858 P1C Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-193, Pollock-236, Snow-PT11a, R.5, PR66 NGC. The obverse is the issued Small Letters 1858 Flying Eagle design. The reverse is similar to the issued 1860 cent but the shield is broad and ornamented. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. This high grade apricot-gold representative has a full strike and lacks any contact marks. Carbon is virtually absent. Census: 2 in 66, none finer (12/13).
