    Description

1858 P1C Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-198, Pollock-229, R.6-7, PR62 ANACS. The adopted Flying Eagle cent design with small letters on the obverse, while the reverse has a wide oak wreath with a broad, ornamental shield at the top. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. The original reflectivity is somewhat subdued under a layer of gray-golden toning on each side. Still, an attractive, worthwhile example of this scarce pattern issue.
