    Description

Pattern 1858 Flying Eagle Cent Attributed to Paquet, Judd-202

1858 P1C Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-202, Pollock-245, R.5, PR65 PCGS. The obverse die is the same that the Mint used to deliver the preceding specimen. The reverse, on the other hand, exhibits the denomination ONE CENT within a simple laurel wreath. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. Orange-brown in color, the originally preserved surfaces reveal pleasing reflectivity in the fields as the coin rotates under the light. The razor sharp impression and smooth, virtually blemish-free surfaces are equally free of criticism.
