    Description

1858 Copper-Nickel Flying Eagle Cent Pattern
    Judd-204, PR63

1858 P1C Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-204, Pollock-248, R.5, PR63 PCGS. Anthony Paquet's small flying eagle motif is paired with an ornamental shield and oak wreath reverse. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. The fields are uncommonly bright and reflective for a copper-nickel product. Die striations are especially notable in the reverse fields. Light tan-rose color overall. Just a few hairlines limit the grade. Housed in a first-generation holder.

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 29BK, PCGS# 11871)
