    Paquet's Flying Eagle Design

    1858 P1C Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-206, Pollock-242, R.5, PR60 PCGS. Snow-PT16. A doubled die reverse with the close E in ONE rehubbed with an open E. Paquet's Small Eagle obverse is paired with the regular issue Low Leaves reverse. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. A boldly struck olive-gold specimen with glimpses of golden-brown at the margins. Wispy hairlines and small flecks account for the grade.
