    Popular Pattern Indian cent, J-208, Pollock-258

    1858 P1C Indian Cent, Judd-208, Pollock-258, R.6, MS61 ANACS. Indian Cent pattern with the adopted design of 1859, but dated a year earlier. This Pollock variety exhibits a laurel wreath containing 5 leaf clusters, and a centered date on the obverse. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. This somewhat muted, non-reflective specimen is bathed in deep brick-red patina with splashes of orange. Sharply struck throughout with no distracting blemishes to report.
