    Description

1858 P1C Indian Cent, Judd-208, Pollock-259, R.1--Genuine--ANACS. Similar to the issued 1859 Laurel Wreath Indian cent, but a transitional pattern dated 1858. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. This well struck example appears to be a proof, and the devices are free from friction. Slightly glossy, and the left obverse field is hairlined.
From the Estate of Robert R. Rollins Collection, Part Two.

The outcome of the auction far exceeded my best hopes and would not likely have been as successful with out your sound advice on where to present the coin and how best to set the reserve. Throughout the process your availability , support and knowledge were exceptional.
