    Description

    PR62 1858 Indian Cent, Judd-208

1858 P1C Indian Cent, Judd-208, Pollock-259, R.1, PR62 NGC. Judd-208 is less famous than the 1856 Flying Eagle cent, but perhaps of similar significance, since it is dated 1858 yet has the same designs as the issued 1859 cent. The wreath exhibits five-leaf clusters. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. This boldly struck specimen is from moderately rotated dies and has lightly hairlined and nicely reflective fields. Void of contact marks with minor residue in the UN in UNITED and a small spot near the chin.

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 29BP, PCGS# 11885)
