    1858 Indian Cent With Laurel Wreath Reverse
    Judd-208, Pollock-259, PR63

    1858 P1C Indian Cent, Judd-208, Pollock-259, R.1, PR63 NGC. Ex: Exemplar Collection. The Indian Head cent as adopted in 1859 with rounded bust. The reverse has clusters of five leaves in the wreath. This is the Centered Date Pollock variant. The combination of these two design features makes this a Pollock-259. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. The surfaces are uncommonly bright with even reddish-tinged tan patina. Fully struck.
