    1858 Indian Cent in Copper-Nickel
    Judd-208, PR63

    1858 P1C Indian Cent, Judd-208, Pollock-259, R.1, PR63 PCGS. The Indian Head cent as adopted in 1859 with rounded bust. The reverse has clusters of five leaves in the wreath. This is the Centered Date Pollock variant. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. The fields are mildly reflective and the devices are fully brought up. The grade is not derived from abrasions or cleaning, but rather from numerous specks of carbon, mostly seen on the obverse.
