    1858 P1C Indian Cent, Judd-208, Pollock-259, R.1 -- Spot Removed -- PCGS Genuine. Proof, Unc. Details. Although the transitional pattern Judd-180 1856 Flying Eagle cent has been adopted by the hobby as a regular issue, the transitional Judd-208 and Judd-228 Indian cents are currently collected primarily by pattern specialists. Judd-208 has the same designs as the issued 1859 cent except dated 1858. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. Well struck and satiny with peach and gold tints. Spots on the dentils beneath the date are accompanied by a patch of hairlines.
