    Description

    1858 P1C Indian Cent, Judd-208, Pollock-259, R.4, AU50 PCGS. An Indian Cent pattern with the adopted design of 1859, but dated a year earlier. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. The Pollock variant with a centered date and five leaves on the laurel wreath. An olive-brown example with moderate wear and a hint of verdigris above the ribbon. An interesting mint made die crack at 2 o'clock.
