    Narrow Bust Point, Judd-211

    1858 P1C Indian Cent, Judd-211, Pollock-255, Snow-PT33, R.4, PR64 PCGS. CAC. The Low Date, Narrow Bust Point subvariety of Judd-211. The Indian cent obverse of 1859, except dated 1858, and the reverse features a broad oak wreath sans shield, the denomination as usual centered within the wreath. Scarcer than the Broad Bust Point, Centered Date (Snow-PT33) version of Judd-211. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. The fully struck and prominently mirrored surfaces exhibit light peach-gold toning. A solitary hairline on the cheek and a couple of peripheral flecks decide the grade. Housed in a green label holder. Population: 23 in 64, 5 finer (9/12).
