    Description

    1858 P1C Indian Cent, Judd-212, Pollock-256, 263, R.5.--Corroded, Cleaned--ANACS. AU Details, Net PR30. Similar to the regular issue 1859 Indian cent, but with a broad, ornamented shield at the top of the reverse. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. Saddle-brown color with a sharp strike and hints of the original luster. Portions of the surface are pitted with corrosion, with unpleasant dark purple color in some of the pits. The dies are rotated approximately 30 degrees.
