    1858 Indian Cent, PR62
    Judd-212, Broad Bust Point

    1858 P1C Indian Cent, Judd-212, Pollock-263, Snow-PT25, R.4, PR62 NGC. The Broad Bust point subvariety of the Judd variety. The transitional Indian Head obverse of Judd-208 is paired with a pattern reverse that resembles the issued 1860 cent but has a broad ornamented shield. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. The present well struck specimen is nicely mirrored and minimally abraded. Occasional flyspecks decide the grade.
