    1858 Judd-212 Indian Cent, PR64
    Ornamental Shield Reverse

    1858 P1C Indian Cent, Judd-212, Pollock-263, Snow-PT25, R.4, PR64 NGC. Similar to the Indian cent design as issued in 1860, but with a broad, ornamented shield at the top of the reverse. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. The centered date, broad bust tip Pollock and Snow variant of Judd-212. A fully struck Choice proof with flashy peach-gold fields and only minor carbon.
