1859 1C Indian Cent, Judd-228, Pollock-272, Snow-PT4, R.1, MS65 NGC. A transitional pattern that combines the issued 1859 Indian Head cent obverse with the Shield Reverse first issued for commerce in 1860. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge.
