    Description

    1859 Indian Cent, Judd-228, Pollock-272, R.1, MS 63 Lacquered. A transitional pattern with the obverse of 1859 paired with the reverse of 1860. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. Bright and lustrous with a number of tiny specks of carbon across each side. A light layer of lacquer is spread over each side.
