    1859 Pattern Indian Cent, MS65 NGC, Judd-228

    1859 P1C Indian Cent, Judd-228, Pollock-272, R.1, MS65 NGC. Dated 1859 but with the reverse of 1860-1909. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. These exist in business strike and proof formats and are often incorporated with regular Indian cent collections. This piece has flashy orange-tan fields with remarkable mint luster over the devices. Limited in grade by a few specks of carbon, most notably on the obverse.(#11934)
